Christophe Porcel is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on application engineering and customer support in the broadcasting sector. Currently serving as Principal Field Application Engineer for Universal Electronics since May 2014, Christophe excels in bridging engineering, sales, product management, and customer relations, providing both pre-sales and post-sales support. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Staff Application Engineer at Broadcom from February 2006 to January 2014, where responsibilities encompassed Bluetooth feature integration within set-top box environments and the development of Bluetooth abstraction layers. Earlier positions include software engineering roles at Newlogic/Wipro, specializing in Bluetooth IP development, and Mindspeed, along with an initial trainee position at VLSI.
