Matthew Acosta

Matthew Acosta is currently the Firmware Engineering Manager at Universal Electronics, where Matthew leads a team of engineers in developing smart thermostats using ARM based UEI microcontrollers. With experience in leading engineering teams and exceptional attention to detail, Matthew is self-starting, accountable, and possesses outstanding communication skills. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Universal Electronics and as a Design Engineer I at RCS Technology. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University.
