Jose Alvarez

Jose Alvarez has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Jose is currently the Vice President of Operational Excellence at Universal Engineering Sciences, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Travel + Leisure Co. as the Manager of CRM Product Ownership and Process Improvement from July 2021 to November 2022. Before that, they held the position of Director of Disney's Magical Express and Disney Cruise Line Airport & Resort Operations at Walt Disney World from June 2019 to December 2020. Jose also worked at Disney Cruise Line as the Director of Purchasing, Warehousing & Logistics from November 2011 to June 2019. Jose began their career at Walt Disney World as a Senior Industrial Engineer from October 2000 to November 2002, and later became the Senior Manager of Industrial Engineering from 2002 to 2011. Before joining Walt Disney World, Jose worked as a Production Superintendent at Smurfit-Stone from June 1994 to September 2000, where they managed various departments in a unionized environment.

Jose Alvarez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Florida from 1991 to 1994.
