Ken Derick, CBO, P.E., is the Senior Vice President at Universal Engineering Sciences, bringing over 47 years of experience in civil and structural engineering. They began their career as a Project Engineer at International Paper Company, later serving as Vice President at Soil Testing Engineers, Inc. and Chattahoochee Geotechnical Consultants. With a strong focus on building code administration, geotechnical assessment, and structural design, Ken continues to thrive in their role, relishing the teamwork and challenges presented in current projects. They hold a BCE and MSCE in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
