John Freeme

John Freeme is an experienced finance professional specializing in foreign exchange and risk management. Currently serving as the Head of Dealing at Universal Partners since June 2025, John previously held significant positions at Xe.com, including Head of Corporate Dealing EMEA and Chief Dealer for Corporate Foreign Exchange. With a solid foundation at HiFX, where John worked as a Corporate Foreign Exchange Dealer and Premier Account Manager, expertise in international money transfer solutions was developed. Earlier experience as a Portfolio Manager at AJR Pty Ltd involved foreign exchange risk management for corporate clients in South Africa. John Freeme holds a BComm degree in Risk Management from the University of South Africa, obtained between 1999 and 2002.
