Quantum Technology Consultant at Universal Quantum

Foni Raphaël Lebrun has a diverse work experience in the field of quantum technologies. Foni Raphaël is currently working as a Quantum Technology Consultant at Universal Quantum since November 2021. Prior to this, they were associated with the University of Sussex since 2015, where they held multiple roles. Foni Raphaël served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Trapped Ion Quantum Computing and as a Research Assistant in Experimental Quantum Technologies from June 2017 to October 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant from January 2017 to May 2017, and was involved in Science Outreach activities from September 2015 to December 2016. In 2014, they also gained research experience as a Research Intern at The University of Queensland, where they focused on studying compact self-gravitating stellar assemblies in galactic tidal tails.

Foni Raphaël Lebrun pursued their education in a chronological manner. Foni Raphaël started with their high school education at Lycée François-René de Chateaubriand in Rennes. From 2011 to 2013, they completed Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Ecoles- MPSI-PSI, which served as a foundation for higher education.

In 2013, Foni joined Université de Rennes I, where they studied Physical Sciences. Foni Raphaël completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in 2014.

Foni then continued their education at the University of Sussex. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Quantum Technologies.

Building on their master's degree, Foni went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Experimental Quantum Technologies at the University of Sussex. Foni Raphaël started their PhD journey in 2016 and successfully completed it in 2021.

Throughout their educational journey, Foni Raphaël Lebrun focused on the field of Quantum Technologies, starting from their master's degree and further specializing in Experimental Quantum Technologies during their PhD.
