Quantum Engineer at Universal Quantum

Luuk Earl has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Luuk started their career as a Teach Physics Intern at The Ogden Trust in 2014, where they worked on developing experiments for primary school outreach and assisting A-level students with university applications. In 2016, they served as a Research and Development Scientist at Gooch and Housego. Following this, Luuk worked as a Teaching Associate at the University of Birmingham from 2017 to 2019, where they supervised a team of 12 students in an extended project and received a high satisfaction score for their course delivery. Currently, they are employed as a Quantum Engineer at Universal Quantum, starting in 2020.

Luuk Earl started their education at Lincoln Christ's Hospital school in 2005 and completed their high school education in 2012. Luuk then attended the University of Birmingham from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics. Luuk continued their studies at the University of Birmingham and completed an MRes degree in Quantum Technology from 2016 to 2017. Luuk then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics at the University of Birmingham from 2016 to 2020.
