Rune Østergaard

Rune Østergaard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management, customer experience, and business development across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Program Management Office Manager at Universal Robots since April 2024, Rune leads business transformation to enhance service delivery. Previously, as Global Director of Customer Experience and Projects at Schneider Electric, responsibilities included managing post-sales projects and customer engagements for Data Center customers globally. Additional roles have included Head of Software Services at Schneider Electric, Head of Commercial Wind at ESVAGT A/S, and strategic customer management positions at Siemens Wind Power. Rune's career began at Mars, leading demand planning in the Nordic region, and spans various supply chain and logistics roles. Rune holds a Master of Business Administration and Operation Management from Copenhagen Business School and an MBA in Supply Chain Management from The University of British Columbia.
