University Climate Ventures (UCV) is the university spinout platform for climate tech innovators, built to accelerate climate innovation on campuses nationwide and get more students backed by leading investors. 

Through UCV, students, founders, and researchers gain access to the people, knowledge, and community needed to move ideas from campus to company. We host workshops on fundraising, commercialization, and company building, organize events with founders who have successfully navigated the lab-to-market journey, and share mentorship resources and playbooks built from real university spinout experiences. Teams can connect with motivated student talent through a centralized hiring portal and engage with climate investors who understand technical risk and long timelines, with warm introductions when the time is right.

For investors, UCV provides a high-signal on-ramp into leading university ecosystems. Campus Venture Partners embedded across labs, founder networks, and innovation communities surface emerging climate companies as they form, sharing screened deal flow through targeted pings rather than ad-hoc introductions. Investors also gain access to a live database of founders and researchers across top universities, quarterly briefs on emerging technical and commercialization trends, and curated small-group gatherings with founders when visiting campus.
