Marcel Panse has a long and varied career in software development and engineering. In 2016, they became the CTO & Co-founder of Unless.com, an Amsterdam-based company that offers services that adapt digital communication to match the state of mind of individual people. From 2013 to 2015, they owned their own company, Foobar BV, and did various assignments at different companies. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Freelance Software Developer at myTomorrows, an online platform providing early access to the latest drug innovations. Marcel was also the Interim CTO of Savve from 2015 to 2016, a dutch Amsterdam-based startup that aims to get every home 100% energy neutral. From 2010 to 2015, they were the Chief Architect of Peecho, a global cloud print network. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Freelance Software Developer at Mobiquity, Inc., helping the MyOrder backend development team with a big migration of the backend technologies. Marcel was also an AWS Consultant at YoungCapital from 2015 to 2016, helping them set up their AWS stack and Continuous Deployment environment. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Freelance Software consultant at HeadFirst, a staffing and recruitment company for professional freelancers. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Software Architect and Software Engineer at Quintor, where they developed a WYSIWYG editor to create professional prints. Marcel was also a Software Engineer at ABN AMRO (for Quintor) from 2008 to 2009, where they created Associates, a platform for Freelancers to promote themselves and find jobs.
Marcel Panse obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences between 2000 and 2004. In 2017, they obtained a certification from Y Combinator's Startup School Online.
