Ashwin Thind is a Clinical Psychologist and PhD student at the University of Malaya, specializing in addiction, trauma-related disorders, and personality disorders. Currently, they serve as an academic advisor for a nonprofit social enterprise LGBT-focused clinic, developing harm reduction programs for Chemsex. Their therapeutic work is informed by an integrative approach and is focused on addressing the unique needs of individuals facing challenges with substance use and compulsive sexual behaviors. Ashwin is also a Global Master Trainer with the UNODC and ISSUP, advocating for drug policy reform and enhancing training and credentialing efforts in addiction treatment in Malaysia.
