Jolien Abrams

Jolien Abrams possesses a diverse background in political affairs and international diplomacy, highlighted by an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Belgium, where representation at high-level meetings and research on the political situation in the Horn of Africa were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes an internship at the Prosecutor's office and another at Oikos denktank, both in 2017 and 2016 respectively. Most recently, Jolien served as Associate Programme Officer and Head of the Programme Office of UNODC in Madagascar, alongside roles as Project Support Officer and Program Management Intern within the Global Maritime Crime Programme in Nairobi. Jolien holds a degree from Universiteit Gent, completed in 2018.
