Chris Gee

Chris Gee is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Shanzhai City, a consultancy focused on impact strategy and data-driven innovation for development in emerging economies. As a Venture Partner at DVF Impact Holdings, Chris supports high-impact investments aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Currently serving as a Sustainability and Inclusion Advisor for CircusLabs, a blockchain-based media platform, and as a Regenerative Finance Advisor for Unplastify, Chris works on sustainability initiatives targeting environmental challenges. Chris is also co-founder and Director of Technology at the Ubiquity Foundation, which aims to implement Universal Basic Income programs in vulnerable communities. In academia, Chris is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, teaching courses on urban design and economic development. With a background that includes leadership roles in various organizations and a robust education from Columbia University and UC San Diego, Chris Gee combines expertise in architecture, urban planning, and social impact.
