UNRISEN QUEEN is the Glam Rock band that led two international tributes to Freddie Mercury in Montreux, Switzerland. In 2013, at the FREDDIE MERCURY'S MEMORIAL DAY during its 11th and final edition, Peter Freestone (Personal Assistant, Friend, and Heir to Mercury) congratulated the band, describing it as the voice closest to Freddie's that he had heard since the legendary singer's passing.

The band was hailed as the:
“RESURRECTION OF THE VOICE OF FREDDIE MERCURY”

In 2015, QUEEN PRODUCTIONS Ltd. took the reins of this global tribute, renaming it as FREDDIE MERCURY'S BIRTHDAY PARTY (Casino Barriere, Montreux). UNRISEN QUEEN led the event, raising over $56,000 for the MERCURY PHOENIX TRUST, the international AIDS foundation created by Queen in Freddie's honor.

The 2015 tour culminated in an epic concert at the Victor Villegas Auditorium in Murcia with the SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA OF THE REGION OF MURCIA (ÖSRM), which was streamed to more than 20,000 people worldwide (This Orchestral Project will be revisited during 2024).

Additionally, the band released a promotional album featuring live and studio recordings of Queen's greatest hits and their own single:
“SWEET SWISS CHRISTMAS”
a Christmas song dedicated to Montreux's Christmas market (Montreux Noël), one of the most significant in Europe.

In 2016, the band entered the studios to work on their new original material, with the standout single
"ROCK IT" being a Pre-Candidate to represent Spain at Eurovision 2017.

From 2017 ´til early 2020, the band was on tour when the Covid-19 pandemic halted their 10th-anniversary tour called "TEN YEARS GONE Tour 2020", that had to be canceled a few days before the global lockdown, making UNRISEN QUEEN the first artist in Spain to suspend their tour due to the pandemic.

After the forced hiatus, the band resumed touring in April 2022 ´til today and also established their own record label "U.Q. RECORDS".

Over 300,000 people have witnessed this incredible band since its inception.
