Nikhil Kumar Lakumarapu

Nikhil Kumar Lakumarapu is a Deep Learning Researcher at unScript.ai since June 2023, focusing on building and deploying video audio-based Generative AI models. Prior to this role, Nikhil served as a Research Engineer at Samsung Electronics from September 2018 to August 2023, where contributions included developing end-to-end models for speech translation that addressed low resource and inference time issues, resulting in significant performance improvements through innovative deep learning techniques. Earlier experience includes a Research Internship at TU Kaiserslautern in 2016. Nikhil holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, earned in May 2018.
