Led by Development Producers, Julia Berg and Ruth Spencer, we are a production company that develops exciting new voices and works with established talent to cultivate unexpected, visionary and thought-provoking stories.

We believe that strong, unique stories matter and flourish when supported. With our guidance, new talent have secured funding from major financiers, such as The BFI, Stan, Film Victoria, Creative England, ABC and key producers have optioned works.

Untamed is currently in development on an in-house slate of projects across Film, TV and podcast.

In 2021, Untamed Stories partnered with The Writers Lab NY to bring their pioneering Lab for women and non-binary screenwriters over the age of 40 to the UK & Ireland for the first time. For the UK&I venture we joined forces with Cate Blanchett’s Dirty Films in association with Birds Eye View.

The Writers Lab US is supported by Oprah Winfrey, Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep.
