Carl Phillips

Carl Phillips has extensive work experience in the field of advertising VFX and production. Carl is currently serving as the Executive Director of Advertising VFX at Untold Studios since December 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of EP/Head of Production at Untold Studios from July 2019 to December 2022. Before joining Untold Studios, Carl worked at The Mill where they served as the Managing Director from June 2018 to June 2019, Head of Production from January 2017 to June 2018, VFX Producer from February 2013 to January 2017, and Producer from March 2011 to January 2013. Carl also gained experience as a Post Production Supervisor at Screen Scene VFX from September 2010 to March 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Account Manager at UNIT Post Production from December 2009 to June 2010 and as a Business Development & Producer at Splice TV Ltd from June 2007 to December 2009. Carl started their career as a Sales, Marketing & Distribution Intern at ContentFilm from October 2006 to January 2007.

Carl Phillips completed their education with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Film Studies from University College Dublin during the period of 2005-2006. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy & Anthropology from Maynooth University, where they studied from 2001 to 2004.
