James HattSmith

James HattSmith has a strong background in visual effects and compositing, with a range of roles and experiences in various companies. James is currently working as a Visual Effects Supervisor at Untold Studios. Prior to that, they worked as a Compositing Supervisor at Cinesite from February 2020 to May 2021. James also had a significant tenure at DNEG, where they served as a 2D Comp Supervisor from May 2018 to January 2020, and as a Senior Compositor/2D Lead from October 2016 to May 2018. James started their career as a Compositor at BlueBolt, where they worked on projects such as "Woman in Gold" and "Macbeth" from September 2014 to December 2014. James also worked as a Compositor at Framestore on projects such as "Jupiter Ascending," "Guardians of the Galaxy," and "Dracula: Untold" from March 2014 to September 2014. Their earlier experiences include working as a Senior Compositor at UNIT Media from September 2011 to February 2014 and as a VFX Artist at ENVY Post Production from October 2008 to September 2011.
