Ben Vance has nearly three decades of experience in financial services, currently serving as Senior Managing Director of Private Assets at Unum since June 1999. In this role, Ben oversees private asset classes, including Private Placements, Commercial Mortgage Loans, and Alternatives, while also managing the Private Placements portfolio. Previously, Ben worked as Assistant Vice President at UBS from May 1993 to July 1998, focusing on corporate banking and relationship management. After UBS, Ben held the position of Senior Investment Manager at American General, where responsibilities included analyzing transactions and recommending investment purchases for a private placement portfolio. Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Lipscomb University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
