Dawn Harmon is the AVP & Legal Counsel at Unum and previously served as the Firm President and Chair of the Litigation Practice Group at Perkins Thompson from 2004 to 2021. With a focus on civil litigation and employment law, Dawn's practice spanned across Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, addressing issues such as commercial litigation and employment discrimination. Dawn holds an A.B. in Political Science and Government from Wheaton College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law. Additionally, Dawn has contributed to the community as a member of the Town of Cape Elizabeth's Personnel Board of Appeals and as a director for the Ronald McDonald House of Portland, Maine, Inc.
