McKell Barnes is an experienced professional currently serving as Project Manager III in Finance Enablement at Unum since 2022, after holding the roles of Project Manager II and Talent Acquisition Consultant within the same organization. Prior to Unum, McKell spent nearly nine years at Bates College as the Head Softball Coach. Earlier experience includes a position as a Math Teacher at Brunswick High School and as an Assistant Softball Coach at Bowdoin College. McKell holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Secondary Education Mathematics from the University of Maine at Farmington and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sports Leadership at Northeastern University.
