Wayne Cronin

Wayne Cronin is an experienced professional with a diverse background in benefits management, law enforcement, and education. Currently serving as the Lead Benefits Specialist at Unum since April 2015, Wayne has demonstrated expertise in managing long-term disability claims, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with teams to enhance workflows and outcomes. Prior to this role, Wayne operated Cronin Fraud Solutions, LLC, advising clients on fraud risks and developing detection controls. A former Detective Sergeant at Wells Police Department, Wayne managed operations within the Criminal Investigation Division while also teaching courses in Criminalistics and Police Organizations as an Adjunct Faculty member at York County Community College. Wayne holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Unity College.
