Henning Kjær

Henning Kjær's work experience includes various roles in different companies over the years. Henning worked as a System Consultant at Bording Data from 2000 to 2002, primarily focusing on Java development. Henning then joined DSB Informatik in 2002 as a Java Developer, working on projects such as DSB postal ticket shipping and new ticket automats.

In 2005, Henning joined Unwire as a Developer, where they contributed to the development of mobile web portals and worked as a Project Architect. Henning later became a Team Lead, managing a department of 20 developers and working on projects for major customers. As the Head of the Support team, they led a team responsible for technical support and customer service.

After their time at Unwire, Henning joined Configit in 2014 as a Solutions Developer and later as a Services Manager until 2017. Henning then returned to BEC as a Competence Leader in 2018, overseeing the competence development of all BEC developers and leading the internal Java Community of Practice. Henning also served as the Department Manager, leading the Tech Academy team and focusing on technical learning and knowledge sharing.

In 2020, Henning joined Topdanmark as a Competence Leader, where they managed a team of frontend developers, interaction designers, testers, and Scrum Masters. Henning was responsible for competence development in various areas including SAFe, Scrum, AWS, DevOps, test automation, React, and Java backends.

Henning then joined BEC again in 2020 as a DevOps Architect, where they developed and implemented the DevOps strategy to enhance DevOps maturity in the financial sector in Denmark.

In 2021, they joined Falck as a People Lead/Agile Coach/Tech Lead, leading the establishment of a new Direct Healthcare DevSecOps team.

Currently, Henning is working at UNWIRE as the Director of Engineering, starting in 2022.

Henning Kjær's education history includes completing a Master of Information Technology degree in IT Management and Strategy from IT-Universitetet i København, which took place from 2010 to 2016. In addition, they obtained a Diploma in IT from the same institution between 2002 and 2008.

Henning Kjær has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. Henning became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance in April 2011. Henning further acquired the Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2018 and the Certified SAFe® 4 DevOps Practitioner certification from the same institution in December 2018. Additionally, they obtained the Enterprise Agile: Changing Your Culture certification from LinkedIn in February 2019. Most recently, in October 2022, they earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).

During their education history, they also participated in leadership training programs at TWR and Mannaz. However, no specific degree or field of study was provided for these programs.
