Country Manager España at UO Solutions

Damián Macera has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Damián is currently working as the Country Manager España at UO Solutions since September 2021. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the company's operations in Spain.

Prior to this, Damián worked at GTB for almost nine years, starting in October 2012. Damián held the position of Head of Digital & CRM, where they were responsible for developing and executing the digital strategic plan. Damián also managed the brand's digital ecosystem and worked on customer experience journey (CEJ) development and tracking.

In 2021, they worked as a Digital Marketing Trainer at Appdemy, where they conducted training sessions on digital marketing.

From 2018 to 2021, Damián served as a Board Committee Member at Interact Argentina.

Damián also has experience as an Adjunct Professor at UCES from 2016 to 2017 and UADE from 2015 to 2017, where they taught courses.

Earlier in their career, Damián worked at Webar Interactive as the Interactive Regional Account Director from 2009 to 2012. Damián also held the role of Account Supervisor, handling projects for clients such as Chevrolet Argentina. Additionally, they worked as an Executive Senior at Webar's subsidiary in Bogotá, Colombia.

Before that, they worked at Proximity Worldwide as an Account Executive/Planner JR from 2004 to 2007 and at Sigma Publicidad as an Account Executive from 2003 to 2004.

Damián Macera's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled in UADE to pursue a degree in Publicidad. Damián studied subjects such as Publicidad, Marketing, and Comunicación until their graduation in 2004. In 2005, Damián attended the University of Buenos Aires for a postgraduate program in Planeamiento y Administración Estratégica, focusing on the fields of Administración, Marketing, and Economía. The following year, in 2006, they furthered their education at the University of Buenos Aires by undertaking a postgraduate course in Comportamiento del consumidor.

Damián Macera then took a break from their education for several years before pursuing further studies in 2019. During that year, they attended Hyper Island, where they completed a degree in Innovación y transformación digital, specializing in Cultural Shock. Finally, in 2020, Damián furthered their education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they completed a course in Product Management.
