Michael Chen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Michael has held various positions in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and equity capital markets. Michael began their career as a Summer Analyst at UBS Investment Bank in 2002, followed by an Analyst role at the same company in 2003. Michael then worked as an Associate at JPMorgan Cazenove from 2005 to 2009. From 2009 to 2011, Michael served as an Associate Director at Sirius Venture Capital. Michael later joined UOB Kay Hian as an Associate Director in Equity Capital Markets in 2012 and stayed until 2013 when they joined CITIC Securities International as an Associate Director in Investment Banking. In 2014, they became an Executive Director in Private Equity at RED Capital. Michael then joined CCB International Capital Limited as an Executive Director in Investment Banking in 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director in Investment Banking at UOB Kay Hian since 2017.

Michael Chen earned an MBA degree in Finance/Entrepreneurship & Innovation/Management & Strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a BS degree in Finance/International Business from NYU Stern School of Business in 2003. In their earlier years, Michael attended Taipei American School from 1995 to 1999, followed by the Canadian International School of Hong Kong from 1992 to 1995.
