Acting for the planet complicated? With its innovative and stimulating events across Switzerland, the NGO "UP" proves otherwise. From #UPTrain, an event that makes holiday train travel sexy, to no-waste workshops; from swap parties to a Christmas parcours that inspires people to give their loved ones time gifts. Through hands-on activities, people experience how they can build in more sustainability into everyday life. After all, those who save resources can gain a lot at the same time: more time, more well-being, more joy - simply more! And often these events inspire new projects, that in turn empower more people to act at their local level; like a regular repair-café and shared urban gardens in Davos!
