Daren Iott

Daren Iott's work experience begins with their current position as a Senior Software Engineer at Upbound since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at DESS.io from 2017 to 2021 as a System Architect and Lead Software Engineer, where they played a key role in designing and coding a system for blockchain data mining and meta-data exploration. Daren'sresponsibilities included architecting and leading the development of client BE Corp, utilizing Go programming language and RabbitMQ for inter-process communication with distributed Ethereum node client software deployed on AWS using Docker containers to Kubernetes with Rancher.

Before joining DESS.io, Daren held multiple roles at Thomson Reuters, starting as a Senior Software Engineer from 2005 to 2011, and later transitioning to become a Lead Mobile Software Engineer - Android from 2011 to 2017.

Daren'scareer began as a Web Developer at Hawaii Pacific University from 2003 to 2005. Finally, Daren served as an Electronics Technician in the US Navy from 1997 to 2003.

Daren Iott obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Later, from 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
