Our alliance is a non-profit industry association of battery manufacturers, end-users, machinery, equipment & automation solutions suppliers, engineering & construction firms, research institutions, and governments around the world, encompassing the entire value chain for battery manufacturing.  

In 2025, Upcell expanded globally with the launch of Upcell North America and Upcell Asia Pacific, reinforcing our commitment to building regional ecosystems with global impact. 

Our strategic initiative, Upcell Turnkey Solutions (UTKS), brings together industrial consortia capable of delivering fully integrated, scalable gigafactory cell production lines. With advisory support from CTOs and industrial leaders, UTKS helps members compete globally.
