Patrick Mize has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Patrick began their career at Game Junkie as a Concessions staff member, where they fulfilled cashier, stocking, and general office duties. After that, they worked at Karlsberger Companies as a Help Desk support technician, providing end-user support and troubleshooting for an architecture company.
Patrick then joined IRTH Solutions as a Support Analyst, where they ensured compliance with state and federal standards for utility call centers and worked with customers in the USA and Canada. Patrick also authored documentation for the company's products.
Later, Patrick worked as a Support Analyst at Nationwide Insurance/Tek Systems, where they provided hardware, software, VPN, and telecom support in a call center environment. Patrick then moved on to Affiliated Resource Group as an IT Support Technician, where they worked onsite and remotely to support clients across various industries in central Ohio.
Patrick's next role was at HealthSpot, where they served as a Senior Technical Team Lead. In this position, they managed a team of support and customer service agents and deployed the Remedy Force ticket system to track call volumes and analyze common trends in issues.
Currently, Patrick is working at Updox as a Partner Support Manager. Patrick manages a team of three analysts, oversees scheduling and PTO, and facilitates KPIs. Patrick is responsible for ensuring proper ticket documentation, training and onboarding new clients, handling incoming calls and email requests, and collaborating with other teams for issue resolution. Additionally, they troubleshoot Macintosh systems with configuration.
Throughout their career, Patrick has demonstrated strong technical skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to work effectively in various team environments.
Patrick Mize attended Lakota East High School from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued a General Education degree with a focus on College Prep. Following this, from 2004 to 2007, Patrick enrolled at Brown Mackie College in Cincinnati, where they obtained an Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking and Applications. In addition to their formal education, Patrick also obtained a certification in Comp TIA A+ from Comp Tia in May 2007.
