Sam Angeli

Sam Angeli has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2012, they worked as a Creative Director at Plingoo Media, where they led a team in application and web design as well as printed marketing collateral. From 2013 to 2014, Sam worked as a Senior Designer at Gogobot, focusing on iOS app development and concept web designs.

In 2018, Sam held positions at both Barclaycard and Barclays. At Barclaycard, they worked as a Senior Designer, while at Barclays, they collaborated with the design team on the OneApp project, ensuring compliance with new banking regulations. In 2019, Sam joined Publicis Sapient as a Senior Visual Designer, Senior UX/UI Designer, and Senior Designer.

From 2019 to 2020, Sam worked as a Creative Director at Whipped Design, overseeing creative projects. Sam then joined Updraft in 2020, initially serving as the Chief Design Officer and later as the Chief Design and Product Officer until the present.

In 2022, Sam took on new roles as the Chief Design Officer at AIME: Innovation Without Limits and as an Advisor at Thema. These positions reflect their expertise and leadership in design and innovation.

Sam Angeli attended St. Thomas the Apostle College from 1995 to 2000, earning a High School Degree. Following this, from 2003 to 2005, Sam attended London South Bank University where they obtained a HND in Graphic design.
