Mark Clare

Mark Clare has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Mark is currently serving as the Vice President - Partnerships and Channels at Upduo since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at Upduo from July 2020 to October 2021.

In 2014, Mark founded and served as the Managing Director of The Human Capital Discovery Group LLC (HCDG). HCDG focuses on helping clients achieve their bottom line goals and objectives by leveraging their team's potential. Mark utilized strategies and tactics to create self-awareness and improve team effectiveness for enhancing bottom-line profits.

Mark also served as an Advisory Board Member for the Customer Experience Certificate Program at The George Washington University School of Business from November 2020 to December 2021.

Before that, Mark held the position of Sr. Director - Account Management U.S. at Brightstar Corp. from April 2017 to June 2020.

Mark's extensive career in the telecommunications industry includes various roles at AT&T Mobility, where they worked from 1986 to 2013. Their roles at AT&T Mobility included Director of Sales, Regional Director, and Area Sales Director.

Prior to joining AT&T Mobility, Mark worked as a Branch Manager at BellSouth Mobility from 1986 to 1995.

Mark Clare completed their MBA in General Business from Mercer University - Stetson School of Business and Economics from 1997 to 2000. Mark then obtained a BBA in Marketing from Eastern Kentucky University, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. In 2020, Mark completed a Customer Experience Program Certificate from The George Washington University School of Business. Mark also holds a Certified Managerial Coach certification from Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business, although the specific dates of completion are not provided. In terms of additional certifications, Mark obtained a Customer Experience Certification from The George Washington University in November 2020. Mark also obtained certifications as an Everything DiSC Workplace Accredited Facilitator and as a Facilitator for The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team from Wiley Publishing in July 2015 and May 2015, respectively.
