Gagan Singh

Gagan Singh has extensive work experience in technology and software engineering roles. Gagan most recently served as the Vice President of Technology at uPerform, where they led a team of 14 individuals and managed 30 contractors involved in the construction and maintenance of the uPerform SaaS product. Gagan oversaw a significant project involving the transition to a multi-tenant micro-services architecture hosted on AWS. Prior to that, Gagan held the position of Senior Director Software Engineering and Director Software Engineering at uPerform.

Before joining uPerform, Gagan worked at the U.S. House of Representatives as a Development Manager, overseeing a team responsible for the development of more than ten .NET/.NET core applications.

Earlier in their career, Gagan served as a Software Engineering Manager at FEI Systems, where they had increasing responsibilities and technical abilities. Gagan directed development teams and spearheaded the architecture and development of applications for government clients such as USDA and NIH.

Gagan began their career as a Software Engineer at SGP.

Gagan Singh's education history includes a CTO Program from The Wharton School, completed from 2022 to 2023. Prior to this, Gagan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

In addition to formal degrees, Gagan has also obtained several certifications. These include certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as AWS Certified Database - Specialty, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. Gagan has also obtained certifications like Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master I, SAFe 4 Certified Agilist, and Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals. Furthermore, Gagan has completed courses in Business Analytics, Product Management and Strategy, and Driving Strategic Innovation from Wharton Executive Education.
