James Brown has a diverse work experience in the software development field. James started their career in 2015 as a Computer Science Co-op Student at VisualSpection, where they gained valuable experience. In 2015, they also worked as a Frontend/Web Developer Co-Op at Tipping Canoe.

In 2016, they joined upfeat as a Full Stack Developer for a brief period of time. James then returned to upfeat in 2017 and held the position of Software Developer until September 2020. James was later promoted to the role of Software Developer Team Lead in September 2020.
