Shantanu Gupta

Shantanu Gupta is an experienced finance professional with a comprehensive background in financial management and auditing. Currently serving as Director of Finance and Business Unit Head at upGrad since June 2017, Shantanu has led significant initiatives such as the planning and creation of the annual operating plan, spearheading the ERP implementation to automate revenue functions, and overseeing monthly reporting and budgetary variance analysis. Prior to upGrad, Shantanu held roles at Aimia India Loyalty Management as Finance Manager and Assistant Manager Finance, where responsibilities included preparing financial statements and completing statutory audits. Experience also includes working as a Senior Executive and Semi Senior at KPMG India, handling statutory audits and tax issue resolutions. Shantanu holds a Chartered Accountancy degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
