Mariko Kimura

Mariko Kimura is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in capital markets, risk management, and financial institutions. Currently serving as Director of Capital Markets at Upgrade, Inc. since June 2022, Mariko focuses on warehouse facility management, liquidity forecasting, and cash management. Prior to this, Mariko held key positions at Upstart, GMO PaymentGateway, Inc., and Morgan Stanley, where responsibilities included overseeing institutional investor partnerships, credit analysis, and risk management for stress testing. Mariko's early career includes roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Merrill Lynch Japan Securities, specializing in debt capital markets and commodities trading. Mariko holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Tsukuba.
