Daniel Catita

Daniel Catita has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Daniel started their career as a student at Universidade de Aveiro in 2010 and continued until 2016. During this time, they were a Board Member at the Associação Académica da Universidade de Aveiro from January 2013 to January 2014.

In 2016, Daniel joined Deloitte as a Consultant, where they worked until December 2017. Daniel then took on the role of Developer from May 2017 to October 2020. From September 2019 to September 2020, they held the position of Tech Senior, where they managed teams and developed integration projects for the Insurance industry in Ontario, Canada. Additionally, they utilized Spring Microservices in Java and AWS Lambda Functions (Python) for serverless applications.

Most recently, Daniel joined UpHill in October 2020 as a Back End Developer, where they currently work.

Daniel Catita has a solid educational background in the field of computer engineering. Daniel first attended Escola Secundária João de Barros from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained their high school degree with a focus on Sciences and Technology. Following that, from 2010 to 2016, Daniel pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Universidade de Aveiro. This indicates that they have a strong foundation in the theoretical and practical aspects of computer engineering. In addition to their formal education, Daniel also holds a certification in "Architecting on AWS" from Rumos, which they obtained in February 2023. This certification suggests that they have specialized knowledge and skills in designing and implementing solutions on the Amazon Web Services platform.
