Jeison Valejo

Jeison Valejo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jeison currently works as the Head of Product Design at Uphold Inc. since 2021. In 2022, they also became a Teacher on the UX/UI Professional Master at Nuclio Digital School. Previously, they served as the Head of Design at Banco ABC Brasil from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Banco Santander as a Ux Design Lead from 2018 to 2020 and as a Product Designer from 2017 to 2018. Jeison also has experience as a Lead Creative, UX Strategy, UX/UI, and Visual Designer at a consulting firm from 2015 to 2017. Jeison worked as a Creative Director at Media Interactive from 2013 to 2015 and as a Senior Art Director, Visual Designer, and UX/UI at the same company from 2011 to 2013. Jeison started their career as a Partner, Visual Designer, and UX/UI at Cuecaemcasa.com from 2009 to 2011 and as a Partner, Art Director, Visual Designer, and UX/UI at Creatyve - Digital Agency from 1999 to 2007.

Jeison Valejo attended Stanford Continuing Studies in 2020, where they studied Leadership by Design: Using Design Thinking to Transform Companies and Careers. In 2019, they participated in a bootcamp at How Bootcamps and obtained a degree in Design leadership. In 2012, they pursued an extension course in Art History at Escola Panamericana de Arte e Design. Lastly, from 2004 to 2008, Jeison obtained a Bachelor's degree in Advertising & Marketing from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.
