Mark

Mark MA is an experienced Applied Scientist II at Amazon, focusing on LLM initiatives for the Amazon A to Z experience, and previously contributed to NLP for PTX initiatives. Mark holds additional roles as a Venture Partner at SAV and Scout Manager at UpHonest Capital. Prior experience includes being an AI/Machine Learning Engineer at railtown.ai during its IPO year, a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia specializing in computer vision and machine learning, and software engineering roles at Hootsuite and the Centre for Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics. Mark holds an MSc and a second BS in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, a BS in Building and Real Estate from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a background in civil and structural engineering through internships at CARB CONSULTING LTD and AECOM.
