Arnab Dey

Arnab Dey is a Data Scientist at UPL since December 2022, where optimization of Brine chiller performance for a key molecule led to a projected annual cost reduction of ₹7 million and a 58% decrease in running hours. Prior experience includes a Data Science Internship where collaboration with data scientists and chemical engineers resulted in the development of a predictive digital twin for Active Ingredient production, with a projected impact of $360K and a reduction in quality analysis time. Earlier, Arnab worked as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. Arnab holds an M.S. in Data Science from Vellore Institute of Technology and a B.Sc. Honours in Computer Science from Asutosh College, University of Calcutta. Early education was completed at St. Stephen's School, DumDum.
