Claudio Nishimura

Claudio Nishimura serves as the Supply Chain Head for Japan and Quality and EHS Head for the APAC region at UPL since February 2017. With a robust background in quality management and supply chain operations, Claudio previously held several positions at Syngenta Crop Protection from January 1997 to January 2017, including Latam Quality Manager, where leadership focused on enhancing Quality management systems and embedding a Quality culture across the region. Other roles included Production Manager, responsible for significant production growth, and Supply Chain Planner, where successful implementation of operations delivered substantial tax savings. Claudio's educational credentials include an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and degrees in Industrial Process Management and Chemical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
