Iyer Viswanathan

Iyer Viswanathan is an accomplished finance professional with over 20 years of experience in accounts and taxation, currently serving as Associate Lead Accounts and Indirect Taxation at UPL since 2011. In this role, Iyer oversees operations across 34 Depots and 9 Zones, managing rebate provisions, generating MIS reports, conducting debtor analysis, and ensuring timely sales tax compliance. Previous positions include Manager - Accounts and Assistant Manager - MIS & Finance, paired with significant roles at Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd. and Reliance Industries Limited. Iyer holds an ICWAI - INTER degree in Finance and Costing from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
