Nilay Vyas

Nilay Vyas is an experienced safety and health professional currently serving as the Global Head of Safety and Health at UPL since December 2022. Previously, Nilay held various leadership roles at Reliance Industries Limited, including Head of GMS Safety and Fire, where responsibilities included driving strategic risk reduction programs across manufacturing sites, and Head of Safety and Fire Manufacturing, focusing on maintaining high safety performance standards. Other notable positions include General Manager of HSE & Sustainable Development and Country HSE Manager at Shell Energy, where Nilay managed Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) implementation and corporate affairs in India. Early career experience includes serving as Joint General Manager at Essar Oil and various roles at Reliance Industries Limited and Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. Nilay holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and a post-diploma in Industrial Safety and Safety Engineering.
