Stef Schoenmackers

Stef Schoenmackers is the Director of Data Science at Uplevel. Stef has a background in machine learning and organizational science, and they use this knowledge to improve the health and productivity of engineering teams. Stef has also worked as a Data Scientist at Madrona Venture Labs and as an MTS, Software Engineer at eBay Inc. In their role as Datamining Engineer at Decide, they designed and built the News and Rumors system, which helps people avoid buying a product the week before its successor comes out. Stef also designed and built the sentiment analysis component, which summarizes the positive and negative opinions of different features of a product. Stef has also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington Computer Science Department and as a Software Developer Intern at Google. Stef is currently working as a Software Developer at Parity Computing Inc.

Stef Schoenmackers has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Washington, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from UCSD.
