At Porch, Stewart was responsible for the design and implementation of the in-house Master Data Management and identity services for the Data Warehouse to consolidate disparate sources of shared domain across product, subsidiary, and partner data feeds. Stewart also created a system for automated aggregation and cohorting of mastered data using kafka. In addition, Stewart developed the service architecture of on demand-ML models (millions of requests/day) with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists. Stewart also mentored Junior Analysts and Engineers.

Stewart was also the Lead ETL Engineer for a Junior Engineering team tasked with the design and build of data integration feeds for core platform data using CloverETL. In this role, they managed an ETL cloud instance running thousands of daily jobs across a spectrum of business practices. Stewart also built concurrency detection, CI deployment pipelines, and monitoring/alerting for the instance.

Stewart has also collaborated with Data Engineering and QA Analysts on the design of relational models for the core data platform, including contractor, canonical location/address, and property data.

Stewart Spencer attended Gonzaga University from 2010-2014 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
