Micaela Christopher

Micaela Christopher serves as the Director of Data Science and Engineering at Uplight, a position held since July 2019, where responsibilities include developing the Platform Analytics vision and overseeing multiple teams within the Uplight Data Platform. Prior to this, Micaela was a Data Science and Engineering Manager at Uplight following the merger of Simply Energy with Tendril. Micaela's career includes significant roles at Tendril, such as Head of Analytics/Data Science Manager and Behavioral Data Scientist, focusing on performance analysis and product insights. Beginning a career in academia, Micaela was a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, contributing to research on reading abilities and cognitive psychology. Micaela holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts from Claremont McKenna College.
