Jacob Samuelson

Jacob Samuelson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jacob'smost recent role was as the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Uplimit (Formerly CoRise), where they currently work. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Product Management at Wayfair from June 2019 to July 2021. Before Wayfair, they held the position of VP of Product and Director of Product Management at Catalant Technologies from June 2018 to June 2019 and July 2017 to May 2018, respectively. Jacob also worked at Coursera, where they held various positions including Senior Product Manager, Product Manager, Strategy Manager, and Business Development Manager from November 2016 to July 2017, February 2016 to October 2016, July 2015 to February 2016, and September 2013 to June 2015, respectively. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Fellow at Learn Capital from April 2013 to October 2013. Jacob served as the VP of Investments at Wharton Social Venture Fund from September 2011 to March 2013 and as a Consultant at Pocket Gems from September 2012 to December 2012. Jacob was also the VP of Business Development at Kuato Studios from May 2012 to December 2012. Jacob has experience in the field of impact investing as well, having worked as the New Initiatives role at Acumen Fund from June 2011 to April 2012 and as a Senior Program Associate, 2nd employee at The Global Impact Investing Network from July 2009 to June 2011.

Jacob Samuelson completed their education with a BA degree in Economics (cum laude) from Harvard University, attending from 2002 to 2006. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued an MBA with honors from The Wharton School. In addition, Jacob obtained certifications in "Influencing People" from Coursera Course Certificates in April 2016 and in "Introduction to Software Product Management" from Coursera Verified Certificates in October 2015.
