Anar Abdullayev

Anar Abdullayev currently serves as the Global OHS Director for UPM ComPapers & SpecPapers since February 2023. Previously, Anar held various roles, including HSE Director for Europe & Asia at Rain Carbon Inc from April 2019 to February 2023, and HSEQ Lead for Snubbing and Workover Projects at Nordic Energy from April 2018 to April 2019. Anar's extensive experience includes leadership in implementing and managing Quality and Safety Management Systems, compliance with international standards, and executing HSEQ programs to promote continuous improvement. Anar's career also includes positions at TechnipFMC as Regional QHSE Supervisor and Harsco Metals & Minerals as QHSE Manager, along with early experience at SOCAR as a Maintenance Engineer and HSEQ Engineer. Anar Abdullayev holds a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Engineering Economy and Management from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, alongside several NEBOSH qualifications and other certifications in health, safety, and quality management.
