Anssi Käki

Anssi Käki started their work experience in 2007 as a Supply Chain consultant at ROCE Partners, where they provided consulting services to various clients in the electronics, technical wholesaler, and wood product manufacturing industries. Anssi then pursued a PhD at Aalto University, specializing in systems analysis, decision making, and risk management. After completing their PhD in 2013, Anssi Käki worked as a Consultant at their own firm, Anssi Käki Consulting, until 2013. Anssi then joined UPM - The Biofore Company, where they held various roles including Development Manager, Manager, Director of Advanced Analytics, and currently serves as the Vice President of Pulp Supply Chain and Tools & Processes.

Anssi Käki has a Doctor of Science degree in Operations Research from Aalto University, which was obtained from 2010 to 2014. Anssi also has a Licentiate degree in Operations Research from the same university, achieved from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Technology degree in Operations Research from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Anssi obtained a certification as a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP®) from an unspecified institution in September 2018. Anssi also studied Finanzmathematik, Statistik, and Optimierung at the Technical University of Munich from 2005 to 2006, although they did not obtain a degree specifically from this institution.
