Bert Maes

Bert Maes is an experienced professional with a diverse background in financial processes and logistics. Currently serving as a Process Expert in Invoice to Pay at UPM since April 2008, Bert Maes has held various roles including Specialist Contact Center, Financial Specialist, and Concept Owner, contributing to projects such as Unite Myllykoski to streamline accounts payable operations. Previously, Bert Maes co-managed Purchase Invoices for three paper mills in Germany and worked as a Traffic Planner at Nordwaggon AB, where responsibilities included planning and booking railway wagons in Scandinavia. Bert Maes began a career as a Process-Operator at DSM from July 1988 to April 1996 and later obtained a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Customer Services from Laurea University of Applied Sciences between 2004 and 2007.
