Esa Retva

Esa Retva has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the sourcing, supply chain, and operations fields. Esa has worked at multiple companies, including UPM - The Biofore Company, Perlos / Lite On, Elcoteq, and Nokia. Esa'smost recent role was as the Head of Operations for UPM Biofuels, where they have been since June 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President for UPM Timber SBU from February 2015 to June 2019. Esa held various other senior vice president roles at UPM, including Wood Sourcing & Forestry Business and Wood and Biomass Sourcing. Before their time at UPM, Retva held positions at Perlos / Lite On and Elcoteq as Vice President of Sourcing and Supply Chain Management. Esa began their career at Nokia, where they worked as a Director for several years.

Esa Retva attended Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development from 2014 to 2015, pursuing an Executive MBA.
